I’m not a great cook. I’m noticing there are a lot of recipes that don’t take a lot of skill if you have a food processor. So, I’m buying one! :)

Any favorites you’d like to share? Or if anyone knows of a good site or cookbook?

Used to have a recipe for a rich chocolate dessert that required no cooking. Mostly everything chopped in food processor, mixed, then put into loaf tin and refridgerated to set. I remember digestive biscuits, walnuts, glace cherries and chocolate, of course. Does anybody have a similar recipe, please?

I just got a food processor to make pesto with, but I’m looking to do more! Please, no pesto or salsa recipes. I’m really looking to see what this appliance can do, you know, make the most out of it! I don’t want to be the one who uses it a few times, and then let it sit around in its box for the rest of my life. Thanks so much!
I’d like to see everyone’s favorite &/or best food processor recipe. Thanks! And yes, I do have the Food Network on my TV, just not much time to watch it, as I work very long hours overnight.

This came in my email from Readers Digest (they send great recipes) ….. I saw this and decided to share with you!

6 cups torn lettuce
1 1/2 cups cubed cooked chicken breast
1 can (15 ounces) black beans, rinsed and drained
1 cup chopped seeded tomatoes

Lime Vinaigrette
1/4 cup minced fresh cilantro or parsley
1/4 cup chopped seeded tomato
1 tablespoon cider vinegar
1 tablespoon olive or canola oil
1 tablespoon lime juice
1/2 teaspoon grated lime peel

1. In a large serving bowl, combine the lettuce, chicken, beans, tomatoes, green pepper, onion, and cheese.

I need a fairly simple but good recipe for a hot and spicy salsa. I dont have a food processor but I have a blender. I went to the store and bought:

4 Large Tomatos
2 Habenero Peppers
5 Jalepenos
Cilantro
and 1 Large White Onion.

I can go to the store and buy more ingredients, so what else can I add?? What are some dried spices or other spices or veggies I can add??

I received a food processor/blender for my birthday 5 months ago and I noticed that when I use it, which is seldom, it has a very sharp loud noise. I have seen reviews for it online and it seems that others have encountered the same. I don’t even want to use it because of the horrible noise. Can I return it to Macys without a box?
I used it at most 5 times and it was only the processor part where the bowl was easily cleaned. The item looks Brand New. I have the original receipt.
