How do you make whipped cream cheese?

By Cooking Enthusiast

I found a recipe that added 3 tsps of milk to 8 oz of cream cheese and beating that together? Is this the best way to make whipped cream cheese. Would it work if I put it in my food processor?

    Things You’ll Need:
    240 g of Cream Cheese
    2-3 Tbs of Milk
    Strawberry syrup (optional)
    Mixing bowl
    Mixer
    Plastic Container

Step 1 Soften your cream cheese. The best way to do this is to set your cream cheese on a plate and leave it on your counter for about 1-2 hours.

Step 2 Add your softened cream cheese to your mixing bowl and beat with your mixer until the cream cheese looks whipped.

Step 3 Pour milk 1 tablespoon at a time in to the mixing bowl while mixing until your whipped cream cheese becomes the consistency you like it.

Step 4 Add strawberry syrup. This is an optional step, but a good one. Just drizzle a little bit in at a time until you get it they way you like it. This will add color and flavor to the whipped cream cheese.

Step 5 Store your whipped cream cheese in a plastic container so it will last longer.

Whipping incorporates air into the mixture and makes it light and fluffy. Use the whipping beater if you have one otherwise it may take just a little longer with the regular beater. A food processer will mix it up good and whip it up some but it won’t get as light and fluffy as a beater will. Hope that helps
